We're looking for Content Strategists and Content Design contractors to join our pool of contractors at Springload. You'll use your deep skills in content to help make the things that matter, better. But, more importantly you understand how to build the framework that makes all types of content sing. You are proactive, collaborative and a quick learner, with practice of varied organisations, projects and products.You understand content is a design skill and not just words strung together in a (semi-)coherent sentence. You're comfortable knowledge how information architecture, user research, content design, business processes and SEO combine to create products that work. While you might be an exceptional writer, your real skill lies in your capability to sell content strategy as an essential requirement for any digital product. You may have practice working with different cultures, including practice in working in a culturally affirming manner within a te ao M?ori framework. This could an knowledge of te reo M?ori and te ao M?ori, and how to apply a te ao M?ori framework to digital content. If you're a creative, pragmatic, and passionate content strategist or content designer, keen to join our pool of exceptional content contractors, we want to hear from you. For these functions you'll have: » 4-6 years practice preferably with practice in a leading agency or consultancy focused on content strategy and content design » practice in content strategy or content design for digital products » practice in working with diverse stakeholders to understand goals and scope of projects, and persuasively bringing them on board with content-first approaches » practice co-facilitating workshops with stakeholders and customers » practice developing, testing and iterating information architectures » excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles and tones » a deep knowledge of customers, their content needs and what motivates them online through user research skills » confident in planning multi-channel content » adept at working with clients, a vision for projects, offering skills and strategy, and knowing how to navigate difficult conversations when necessary. » strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. We know there are a lot of excellent digital marketers in Aotearoa - we're not looking for digital marketing skills at the moment. Instead we're looking for content strategy and content design focused on websites, apps, and multi-channel content.
