The opportunity
We are seeking for an Executive adjunct with strong administration skills to provide support in a split function, with one half assisting a small group of Partners and Directors, and other half supporting the Tahi team. this function is offered on a flexible full-time basis in Wellington, on a permanent contract.

As an executive adjunct, your practice in business communication will help you to build effective relationships with important stakeholders and senior leaders. You'll have autonomy and clear responsibilities, working in our friendly, collaborative environment. Your talents will be respected and you'll be supported in developing the career path you choose.
Your key responsibilities - EA function:
   » Working with Partners, clients such as Iwi stakeholders and teams
   » Managing inboxes and diaries of a small group of Partners and Directors
   » Scheduling meetings, arranging travel, processing expense claims, co-ordinating events for various executive meetings and client activities
   » Preparing and editing correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents as required
   » Actively support the Firm's vision and strategies including embracing and promoting change
Your key responsibilities - Tahi Growth Transition Coordinator
   » Liaising with external recruiters and EY Talent to design tailored Tahi recruitment initiatives including a social media campaign and local recruitment focus events
   » Liaising with an external brand consultant and EY BMC to design tailored Tahi multi-media branding assets, sourcing appropriate photos, designs as well as updating the Tahi website and related communication channels
   » continuing liaison with internal recruitment team including coordinating input into broader EY M?ori & Pasifika recruitment campaigns
   » Designing and implementing a pastoral care programme for new and recent Tahi recruits including; induction processes and materials, connection into existing EY induction and staff development initiatives
   » Designing and implementing a Tahi alumni network and programme
   » Developing with the Tahi team and organising:
   » half-yearly Tahi strategy & learning retreats including cultural development sessions with external providers
   » an advanced Tahi cultural learning programme focused on te reo M?ori, tikanga M?ori, and m?tauranga M?ori - including connecting with and into existing external programmes (e.g., Kura reo).
   » attendance, participation or speaking at significant industry conferences (e.g. M?ori accountants network).
Skills and attributes for success
   » Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
   » Proven practice as an Executive adjunct or in high level administration function in a fast-paced corporate environment
   » Demonstrate EY's core values - integrity, respect and teaming; building relationships located on doing the right thing; energy, enthusiasm and the courage to lead
   » Maintain strict discretion and confidentiality
   » Flexible regarding hours worked, tasks undertaken, and stakeholders supported

   » skills in Te Ao M?ori, Te Reo M?ori, Tikanga M?ori and Mat?uranga M?ori through either lived practice or equivalent demonstrable practice
