The Publications Coordinator also contributes to the development of copy and editorial for the NZIFF website and other marketing usage, both in print and online.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / NG? TAKOHANGA » contact with programme note copywriters to ensure delivery is on time » Work with Programming Team to source missing credits and information » Work with Production Team to ensure information on venues and ticketing is complete » Work with Partnerships Team and NZIFF sponsors, funders and advertisers to ensure advertisements and logos are delivered on time and to correct specifications » Compile all materials required for design/production phase of the programme catalogue » Assist Publications Editor in developing pagination for each programme catalogue » Coordinate proofing process of all programme notes, credits, advertisements, logo placements, and informational pages within the programme catalogues » Coordinate proofing and checking process during scheduling, working with Publications Editor, Graphic Designer, Programming Team, Communications and Marketing Manager, and other significant NZIFF team members » Coordinate with printer and all significant NZIFF staff regarding programme catalogue delivery schedules and details » Ensure information logged in FIONA (NZIFF scheduling software) is kept up-to-date » Assist with provision of images for NZIFF website » Assist with proofing session times and other materials on NZIFF website » Assist with resizing and cropping of images for venues and ticketing agencies » Assist with preparing and supplying copy for venues and ticketing agencies » Compile additional programme resources including film reviews and press materials, publicity and marketing imagery for use by Promotions Team REQUIRED expertise AND practice INCLUDE: » practice working in publication editing and production » Advanced copywriting expertise » Highly effective time management, organisational and multi-tasking expertise with high attention to detail » expertise and strong interest in international film culture an advantage » Highly effective problem-solving expertise TERM OF EMPLOYMENT This is a full-time contract position for the period of 23 August to 1 October 2021. this function is located in Auckland.
