With more than enough work coming in, we have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to come in, take control and build the civil engineering discipline of the business. The function: Reporting in to the Director, this function will be responsible for the entirety of the civil engineering projects from business development through to completion of the projects. Working on greenfield residential projects across the North Island, having strong relationships with your network and external stakeholders will be key in this function. As the head of the civil division, the function will also focus heavily on building the company's brand in the market and the wider business growth strategy. Key Responsibilities In This Position Includes: » Project management of residential, commercial, and industrial projects through to completion » Civil engineering design (system of choice) » Liaising with Auckland Council and other external stakeholders » Tendering for new business within the market » Contract negotiation About You: As a CPEng engineer, you will have 7+ years of civil engineering practice either as a freelancer or within an established consultancy.
