Ko t? m?tou mahi – Our function The purpose of the Senior Executive adjunct is to increase the overall effectiveness of the Regional Manager or National Director, and the Te Kurutao leadership abilities Team as required. this function will work closely with other members of the Te Kurutao leadership abilities group, and with the Manager, Office of the DCE Ringa Raup? to ensure an interconnected and seamless support service. As a representative of the Regional Manager or National Director to all K?inga Ora staff, stakeholders and external contacts, this function requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and efficiency to support them with developing and maintaining strong key relationships. The key aspect of this function is to proactively stay in step with the Regional Manager or National Director and anticipate the Regional Manager or National Director’s needs by strategically prioritising tasks. Ng? p?manawatanga ?u – What you will bring: » expertise of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and K?inga Ora’s legislative requirements » At least basic proficiency of Te reo me ?na tikanga M?ori » At least five years’ prior practice working as an Executive adjunct or Personal adjunct to a Senior Manager/Executive team member – or equivalent practice » Tertiary qualification or equivalent practice in Business/Management/Finance desirable » Organisational expertise, especially the capability to multi-task and prioritise » Proven practice and expertise of computerised financial systems and spreadsheet expertise » Excellent time management, communication and training expertise » capability to work as part of a team of support staff » A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach and an capability to work with a minimum of supervision on a day to day basis » capability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels of the organisation » Initiative, sound judgement and discretion » Strong capcapability in Microsoft Windows environment N?u te rourou – What’s in Information technology for you We offer competitive salaries, five weeks’ annual leave and a benefits package including a range of insurances, flexible working arrangements and career development.
