This is a full time, permanent position and a fantastic opportunity to join a New Zealand owned and operated business Based in Dunedin this position required you to contribute to the smooth running of the Warehouse as well as ensuring the speedy delivery of products to the client base, whilst maintaining a tidy work area and accurate stock keeping. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in managing or working in a Warehouse, have a full, clean drivers licence and experience in operating a battery driven fork hoist (training can be provided). An approved handler certificate for Dangerous Goods is preferred but not essential Specific duties include but are not limited to: - Receipting, picking, packing, dispatching and stock control - Accurate stock taking - Cost efficient management of freight - Maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of the Warehouse area whilst adhering to policies and procedures - Liaising with external and internal customers - Assisting with general tasks required in the day to day requirements of the business This position requires the following: - Basic computer skills - Proven Warehouse and Stock Management experience - A high level of Health and Safety awareness - Full class 1 driver's license - Good level of fitness as this position can be physically demanding - Certified Handlers certificate (preferred, not essential) In return, our client offers competitive remuneration, a friendly, supportive team and a stable work environment.
