Strategic People practice Business PartnerJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Permanent »Wellington CBD Location »$120-$140K function: This is a unique function and an amazing opportunity where you will need to be able to operate independently at a strategic level to support two independent department agencies. tasks • Acting as a “Connector”, brokering services between specialist People practice teams and customers. • Partnering with senior leaders and support the delivery of their strategic direction. • Managing ER issues including management of change. • Preparing and presenting regular reporting and insights on HR metrics and trends. • Holding the relationship with union representatives. • Supporting the development of the Snr Advisor • Management of and contribution HR projects as required. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Managers on topical people topics and issues. • Provide advise on recruitment/ induction services. expertise & practice • 5-8 years’ generalist HR practice across a range of organisations including the public sector. • practice working as a Business Partner to Senior Leaders. • practice leading large organisational change projects. • practice dealing with a wide variety of complex Employment Relations issues. • Stake holder engagement (Internal & External). • A commitment to honouring the responsibility to Maori and building your own Maori capcapability.
