Litigation Support ParalegalJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Flexible as to level of practice, admin mix »CBD location, open plan modern environment »Run the firm’s discovery & court trial document requirements Intro » You will enjoy being part of this high profile and very well respected firm with just over 20 staff » You will be part of their specialist litigation practice working closely with their team to manage and run the firm’s discovery, court documents and to provide firm administration support. Tasks Litigation Support Paralegal » Manage the firm’s discovery and trial document requirements including: managing electronic discovery, document review, coding, preparing affidavits of documents / discovery / bundles / casebooks / hyperlinking, conduct in-house training and prepare/update manuals as required » Manage and contact with external suppliers of discovery and trial document requirements » Managing Litigation Support software » PDF Editing » Provide support to the team in relation to discovery and trial document requirements, programmes and procedures » Assist with special projects to be undertaken from time to time » Work closely with a partner, associate and/or solicitor who will supervise work which you undertake • Manage and undertake regular hardcopy and electronic archiving of files in a consistent and cost effective manner » Assist with preparation and production of firm publications including seminars, webinars, articles and website Administration Support » Provide back-up administrative support to partners, practice manager and authors as required including:correspondence, court documents and other material » Summation document database and maintain storage levels; Filing and updating correspondence, pleadings and other folders (electronic/hard copy) » Word processing, reception relief etc General » Attend firm meetings including weekly, other and PD related » General compliance You » Will have the capability to work collaboratively, strive to reach the highest standard, to be straightforward and accurate - direct in ensuring the right course of action is taken » You will be an integral member of a small to medium sized team, and you will enjoy variety and be flexible in your approach, all the while presenting a very polished manner and approach » You may have senior administrative practice from the professional services sector with a strong desire to enter the legal field and specialise in a fascinating area Offer » An excellent income depending on practice » Hours 8.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch » A handy CBD location near the Ferry, Trains and Buses » A great supportive Manager who will provide guidance Interested?
