Male discapability support worker:Job description:Job DescriptionMale Discapability Support WorkerSeeking an independent male service provider to provide support services for a young person with special needs. The work is primarily located in Adelaide, South Australia, within the family home and in the community, but will also involve accompanying the young person and their family with some occasional interstate travel. This is a compensateing function that requires unquestionable relicapability and the professionalism needed to work with a young person with special needs. Generous remuneration for appropriate candidates. $50 per hour with at least 40 hours offered per week continuing. Please consider this function if you meet the following Requirements: * Fit and strong with weightlifting practice and practiced with manual lifting tasks. * Commitment to supporting and caring for adults with disabilities. * Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives. * A Police Check issued with the last 12 months with no disclose able results (or willing to obtain) * Vulnerable-person-related employment screening check (or willing to obtain) * Mature, gentle, positive, and friendly personality * Full driver's licence * Unquestionable relicapability * Competent in speaking and writing English * Competent in communicating via text messages required * Availcapability to work day and night hours as required. candidates from interstate will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
