We provide regional secondary level specialist services to the CCDHB, HVDHB and Wairarapa catchments via a community-located contract between DHBs and T? Ora Compass Health (TOCH). WSHS supports a network of general practices all over the 3 DHB subregion. The purpose of this position is to provide clinical leadership abilities to the Secondary Sexual Health Service. This includes setting direction for the service within the strategic goals and values of T? Ora Compass Health, the sub-regional DHBs and MOH directives with respect to high quality and accessible sexual health service provision, Maori and Pacific peoples, *** and gender diverse population, MSM, *** workers, IDU and other vulnerable population groups. The function includes working toward setting a vision for people, and inspiring and setting service level values and strategic direction. This position will manage a clinical workload (referred or self-referred) through the main clinical services base at Cuba Street and outreach clinics. The Clinical Leader works in close partnership with the clinical service manager, other service clinicians and team members. Other key relationships include liaising with DHB specialists and / or primary care clinicians to provide a high quality specialist sexual health service which aligns with contractual requirements; are safe, effective, evidence located and resource efficient.
