About the Employer :
This a great opportunity for an practiced EA/PA to join our vibrant team and support the Deputy Chief Executive and four other senior members of staff. You will manage the DCE’s diary and inbox, provide excellent admin, help organise meetings, events, and book travel and accommodation.
In addition, you will be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, manage sensitive information and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
About the function:
You will have proven practice providing executive or personal assistance to a senior executive. I’m looking for an independent self-starter, who will take ownership of the function to work collaboratively and effectively with the wider team at a strategic level. This is a really important function, your capability to think on your feet, be proactive and add value to the work will be crucial.
Some requirements of the function are;
• Prioritisation, planning and organisation expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to tasks, to ensure action is taken and the leadership abilities team is kept informed.
• An capability to work with confidential and commercially sensitive information, discretion is key.
• Flexibility and adaptcapability, with a strong customer focus and growth mindset.
About you:
You need to be an excellent communicator with a high degree of professionalism. You will need to prioritise work and make proactive decisions and apply good judgement to support the Deputy Chief Executive.
Knowledge of, or a availability to gain an knowledge of Te Ao M?ori and promote Tikanga and Te Reo M?ori is also preferred.
