We are seeking for a capable and committed Policy Analyst to join our policy group. located in the Wellbeing and Learning Support Policy team, you’ll lead the development of policy in some high profile, new and challenging areas.

Education is key to our well-being, social cohesion, and citizenship. We provide strategic policy advice to enable an inclusive education system which contributes to the expertise and knowledge needed by people for social, cultural, economic and environmental wellbeing.
You’ll join our policy community and be located in the Education System Policy Group – a group with a strong policy culture that works on issues affecting a huge system that directly impacts the lives of all New Zealanders.
About the function
We are seeking for a capable and committed Policy Analyst who is interested to have an impact for children and young people with disabilities and/or learning support needs, and students at risk of disengaging from education. The Wellbeing and Learning Support team develops policy to improve the education practice and results for these students in particular, who may need additional help to reach their full potential. Your work will contribute to advice on education settings and supports for students at-risk of disengaging from education.
