The High Impact Innovation Programme (HIIP) is a programme of work that runs projects designed to have a positive impact on the Justice sector. The team develops these projects in house, as well as supporting other projects and programmes run across the sector. We are seeking for an adviser to join the operations arm of our team, who are responsible for providing operational advice to the project management teams, as well as supporting the implementation of the projects at frontline. M? te t?nga | About the function The purpose of the adviser function is to support operational implementation of initiatives and projects. This will include liaison with defendants/offenders, defence counsel, the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice, Ara Poutama Aotearoa and external agencies to obtain and receive information, support operational change to process and practice, and providing advice to a range of staff across the sector. this function serves as a critical link between HIIP and other parts of the Justice sector. The function also collates information, both qualitative and quantitative data, and prepares this for HIIP to assist in steering future projects and initiatives.
