Laundry adjunctJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Contract » » » - Part time function - laundering, folding & sorting clothing - 8.30am - 2.30pm, 5days/week (Mon to Friday) - Free onsite parking, free lunch provided, school holidays off! Our client: Our client is set in a leafy suburb just south of the city, is a short walk from Remuera Train station, and has free parking onsite if you drive. Hours: • 5 days ie 8.30am to 2.30pm – Monday to Friday • School term times only – so you will have school holidays off and are free to do other work in that time if you wish) • Occasional Saturdays possible on a casual basis if available tasks: • Join a team of between 9-12 in the Laundry & Clothing Department, report to the Clothing manager and enjoy liaising with people in predominantly a function located in their Laundry (a Sewing Room is separate but you may also help with basic repairs eg sewing on buttons as required) • Tasks are sorting and folding Laundry, removing ID tags from garments being returned to the Clothing room, and general housekeeping tasks from time to time • Some heavy lifting involved with un/loading Machines etc, so a good level of fitness required You: You will enjoy working with clothing and may have Laundry practice previously eg from another School, Hotel, Laundry Shop, Hospital, Prison etc). Offer: • The hourly rate will be $23.65 • Additional Kiwisaver • great staff Insurance benefits • There is also an unpaid lunch ½ hour where you are provided a full paid lunch from their onsite Cafeteria as a benefit! • A very reliable secure employer, offering long term employment with opportunities to transfer/grow in the function even.
