We are pursuing NZ registerable Adult Special Care Dentistry Specialist or Senior Dentist to join our busy Hospital & Specialist Dentistry (HSD) team in Auckland. We have a full-time, fixed-term position available commencing January 2022.

Adult Special Care Dentistry is part of HSD providing hospital-located secondary and tertiary level hospital and specialist oral health services for adults living in the greater Auckland area. The prosperous applicant will be joining our existing special care dentistry specialists in a wider multidisciplinary team of dental specialists and senior dentists.

The focus of the function is the provision of comprehensive treatment of adult patients with complex comorbidities in both inpatient and outpatient settings, under general anaesthesia, sedation and local anaesthesia. The prosperous applicant will be expected to contribute to the supervision, teaching and support of dental house agents. In addition to audit, there are opportunities for involvement in research. The post is located at Greenlane Clinical Centre in Epsom, Auckland; our services are delivered from a range of locations across the wider Auckland Region.
