To be successful in this role, you will have: » A tertiary qualification or heavy industrial trade's background or relevant experience in the industry » Experience in maintenance planning and estimating process » Knowledge of relevant production processes » Knowledge/experience in the use of SAP R/3 » The capacity to plan, organise and delegate responsibilities to others » Excellent communication skills, both oral and written » Good decision-making and problem-solving skills » The ability to work in a team environment » And uncompromising attitude to safety The primary accountability of this position is to improve shutdowns and hold-day productivity, schedule weekly work and improve work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts and materials, tools and equipment, permissions, specialised documentation, and equipment access, which results in maximum tool time, minimum downtime, maximum productivity, good customer service and optimised costs.
