Senior Projects Team Manager

The success of our students is important to us, and a new position has opened up in our Office for Pacific Advancement to help provide leadership abilities in the development and implementation of pedagogically and culturally informed strategic projects and initiatives to improve and enhance the learning practice and success of our priority students.
In this function, you will have a leading function in contributing to the development, implementation and management of staff, systems, processes and initiatives that support our students’ academic success and you will maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that our initiatives are student-centred and effective. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Projects you will manage complex relationships and you will be equally comfortable supporting strategy input and implementation with a dedicated and results-focussed team.
We are seeking for a candidate with demonstrated leadership abilities practice establishing innovative and prosperous student-centred programmes/initiatives to support learning in an education setting. You will be someone who can build effective teams grounded by an approach to work that is cultural, relational and people-centred and which embraces manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga and innovative approaches. You will also have sound analytical expertise and be able to use data to drive initiatives.
This is an exciting function where you can influence the student practice and impact on student success through a holistic relational approach. If you want to be a part of a team who really do care and are keen to do great things, then this could be the function for you!
this function is considered a children’s worker function and will be subject to safety checking as part of theChildren’s Act 2014.
income Range:
Band E: $96,000 – $115,000 (dependent on practice and qualifications)
