Hours » 8.30am to 3pm everyday (Monday to Friday) 52 weeks The function » To primarily provide varied customer/administrative support to the Applications Manager (families are your customers), also overall office management to your area (located in a separate 1 storey building set amongst gardens) » Along with a welcoming and valuable reception service (only a minimal part as you will have your own separate work space and there is an automated ‘check in’. Secretarial and Administrative support- Applications Manager » Collation and typing up of applications and interview notes » Managing highly confidential applications files, candidates and leavers » Monitoring phone, email and postal applications » superviseing internal reporting/forms » Liaison with significant academic staff » Communicating with parents/caregivers regarding applications, open days, fielding queries and requests » Managing the related inbox » Greeting parents/caregivers and prospective students answering queries and making them feel welcome » Attending Open Days » Special projects relating to improving Applications process » Database management » Correspondence » Administrative and organisational tasks once applications accepted » File management/updates Reception & Office Management » Present a professional and valuable manner to all visitors and callers » Receive telephone enquiries and action appropriately » Organise meetings and functions (lunches etc) » Mail, kitchen and office supplies » Health & Safety – act as H & S Rep for your office area, attending meetings » Adhere to values and ensure safe practices/student welfare adhered to etc You » Will have great customer service and mature people expertise » Be organised, with an eye for detail, confident in using databases, MS Word etc » Have an excellent work record demonstrating past secretarial, administrative and frontline/customer service » Be a caring but highly confidential applicant who can relate to people at all walks of life Offer : » Terrific working conditions, a warm and friendly team, interaction with passionate staff members and the pleasure of a lovely green campus environment » Free onsite parking (but public transport is nearby too) » Insurance benefits » 10 days sick leave (already) » An increased Kiwisaver contribution at 4% » Free hot meals at lunch » Job security and real work satisfaction » 8.30am to 3pm everyday (Monday to Friday) 52 weeks » An excellent income also applies!
