As part of the Gambling Group you will have the opportunity to contribute to supporting the safety, wellbeing and success of New Zealand communities. The Gambling Group is seeking a Business Advisor to support us in undertaking business planning, performance reporting, and official correspondence activities. You will work closely with managers in the Gambling Group and colleagues across Regulatory Services to coordinate responses to requests and draft content that reflects our priorities and the great work that we do to ensure gambling organisations comply with legislation and licensing regulations, to help keep gambling in New Zealand safe. The Business Advisor will also be expected to provide other business support activities across the group. To be prosperous in this function you will have: » practice in supporting business planning and reporting, and administrative support, systems and processes. » an knowledge of public sector accountcapability processes and the machinery of government. » excellent oral and written communication expertise, and amazing attention to detail. » engagement, relationship management and interpersonal expertise, including the capability to influence more senior colleagues. » strong organisational expertise and the capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work under varying levels of supervision.
