Jonathan Grant Gallery & ARTIS Galleryarelooking fora Gallery adjunct to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Fine/Visual Arts and/or Art History or studying towards one. practice working in a commercial gallery or auction house would be preferred - although not essential.
As we are a small team, communication is key, as well as availability to take on any task big or small. We will provide training and development opportunities to the prosperous candidate. Hours are negotiable but you must be available to work extended hours to cover exhibition installations, openings and the occasional weekend day.
The function will include:
   » Registration and packing of artworks
   » Website maintenance
   » Stockroom management
   » Social media marketing
A familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe packages would be preferred. Strong written and verbal expertise are required as well as enthusiasm for localcontemporary art. The job is demanding, multi-faceted and compensateing.
