About our group and team Business Support is the engine room to our organisation, we are currently a team of 38 staff dispersed across our four Tamaki Makaurau offices. We are a strong capable team who work across multiple pieces of work both nationally and regionally. The team strive to deliver a high level of customer service for both our internal and external key stakeholders. Our team are big on knowledge sharing, upskilling and supporting each other, that is what makes us such a unique team. About this function Reporting to the Business Support Manager you will never have two days that are the same. The function requires a high level of leadership abilities and mentoring to this medium sized team of 13 direct reports. The Support Managers proactively seek opportunities to improve systems and processes to make them more effective and efficient. If you nurture good working relationships with a diverse range of people, enjoy being a pivotal point for the organisation. Excellent problem solving and analytical expertise with an capability to think outside the square. About you You will be a key point of contact for the Mt Eden Business Support team, be a strong people leader and an effective multitasker within a changing environment. In order to be considered for this function you must have the following: » Minimum three years’ practice managing administration/customer service teams » Natural leader who knows how to motivate and coach others » Facilities Management – Maintenance, Incident Management, Health, Safety and Security » Critical thinker, someone who thinks outside the square » capability to build strong working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders » Strong background within implementation for processes, policies and guidelines » One who strive well within a fast-paced/changing environment » Highly motivated and passionate person who wants to be part of a team of high achievers » Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite expertise » The capability to understand and apply the principals of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga » practice within the education sector/public service would be advantageous Are you ready to make a difference?
