Offer: H?pai Ake (Local Hosts):HainesAttractJob description:Job Description» Do you love our city and care for our community?» Be the capable guardian of the city » Two permanent functions available We are seeking for Local Hosts (H?pai Ake) to play a key part in keeping our city safe and welcoming. As part of Community Services team, H?pai Ake delivers results that improve community wellbeing and keep the city safe. The team provides a presence on the street as Capable Guardians, assist in street management and collection of data and intelligence. As a H?pai Ake no two days are the same, you will be walking the central city and will develop relationships with retailers, the street community, police and social service agencies. You will provide advice and directions to the many visitors and locals who enjoy the vibrant city has to offer. To be prosperous in this function, you will need to be passionate and have great customer service and communication expertise. You will be a real team player as you will be working very closely with your colleagues but also be friendly and approachable. The function will require you to be walking and on your feet for the length of your shifts which requires a good level of fitness. Information technology is challenging but the practice and service you provide will be memorable for all those you meet. There are four functions that we are recruiting for and following are the work pattern for each of them, you will have the opportunity to state your preference when submitting the application. function 1: Tuesday to Saturday – 12pm to 8.30pm function 2: Sunday to Thursday – 12pm to 8.30pm Please note that all our short-listed candidates will be required to have the appropriate pre-employment medical testing, including drug and alcohol testing and undergo a musculoskeletal test.
