Services » 12 month contract » $130,000 - $140,000 » Wellington CBD THE ROLE Provide independent, high-quality, consistent and authoritative advice and support in accounting and external financial reporting, including legislative compliance matters. Prepare and peer review technical advice prepared by others in the Accounting Technical Team. » Support the development, maintenance and revision of accounting and external reporting matters, related policies, procedures, and guidelines to be included in the Quality Control Manual. » Comply with Auditing Standards, legislation and regulation. » Support the response to the External Reporting Board's new and amended accounting framework and standards. » Develop and maintain resources for auditors and client support tools (Model Financial Statements). » Support the Opinion Review Committee process administratively and technically. » Train staff in accounting and professional matters and contribute to professional development.
