Pickers: » will be working everyday in the glasshouse » must be physically fit and able to work under the hydroponic tables » must be decisive and able to work quickly and carefully » able to work as part of a team Shop adjuncts: tasks include: customer service, selling strawberries, making real fruit ice creams, fruit packing, general cleaning and maintaining a tidy hygienic workspace » must be reliable, friendly, and able to work well with others » able to work well under pressure, Information technology gets busy! » previous customer service practice preferred but not essential » a good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practises » Clean and tidy work habits » able to use your own initiative to help where needed Our strawberry season starts in September and finishes at the of January. We generally work 6 days a week with Mondays off. Hours for picking can vary over the weeks depending on cropping levels. Some moderate to heavy lifting is required. Skills:
