Live-in adjunct required for our brand new hostel located right in town. The hostel is currently undergoing major renovation works that are set to be completed early next year. Currently the property is open to long-term guests only, and is operating as a boarding house. Whereby the onus is on the guests to maintain a clean living enviroment as a condition of stay, with guests responsible for cleaning their own rooms, bathrooms and ensuring that the communal kitchen is kept in a useable condition for others. As the live-in adjunct it'll be your responsibility to ensure that the hostel's long-stay guests are following house rules and behaving responsibily, as well as cleaning up after themselves in communal spaces. You'll also be required to execute some weekly cleans of communal spaces and bathrooms, strip, launder and make-up a couple of beds per week. You'll also be responsible for providing keys to new arrivals - this is done via a self-check-in lock box, in an on-call capacity. The hours are not set, and can be flexible to suit your schedule. We expect the required tasks to take up to 14 hours per week. In return, you'll get your own ground floor room that opens into our courtyard, and adjoining bathroom. The property is located right in town with an amazingly central location just a minute walk from the lake and the New World supermarket.
