This is a full-time live on farm position. We are located 20 minutes from Invercargill on the Gorge Road-Invercargill highway at Kapuka - near Waituna Lagoon - and 15minutes to the gateway of the Catlins Normal start time is 5:00am and afternoon milking begin at 2:30pm Guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week. Our roster will be: 6 days on - 2 days off. Depending upon work load, this is flexible - we are here to help. Accommodation is available - a 2 bedroom very comfortable cottage $75.00 per week Wifi is also available - $40.00 per fortnight If you love working with animals - are a hard worker, enjoy the outdoors, enthusiastic, good communication expertise and are keen to learn - then we would love for you to join our friendly team of 3 This is a very physical, demanding but compensateing job so you must have an average level of fitness and be of average height as the younger cows require good upper body strength and a good arm reach to cup. Alot of patience is requred during this training time as Information technology is a very hands on position - Some dairy farm practice would be an advantage but not necessary. On the job training will be given. Transport would definitely be an advantage but also not necessary You must be elible to work in NZ with a current working visa, IRD number and NZ bank account number. Skills:
