Flooring Project ManagerJob location:Waikato Hamilton Work Type: Permanent » » » »Putaruru Or Hamilton base; full time permanent PM function »Large scale projects; great brand – house hold name »Competitive income to meet the market; vehicle & tools of the trade The Employer : My client is one of the largest flooring and furnishing retailers in the Waikato & Bay of Plenty region, with over 40 years of prosperous trading. Enjoying the buying power of the largest flooring network in Australasia so they can provide clients with the best options for their projects. Whilst this function is for flooring, my client has world-leading brands in Furniture, Bedding and Appliances in multiple stores across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. This is a tremendous opportunity to work in a unique retail and family-orientated environment. The function: We are pursuing a highly detailed and organised individual, either with like for like practice, or someone who has the right personal attributes. You will either work out of the Putaruru office, or the Hamilton office, with the expectation you will manage either territory. The function itself is newly created to accommodate growth in the market. You will be someone who thrives on pressure and organising tradies – so the right person will need a thick skin, accountcapability, a calm and productive process driven approach, and love the balance of office and site, being on the road regularly. There is a QS who will manage specific quantities, so this function predominantly focuses on the organisation and execution of small and large scale projects. You will also be able to forecast and coordinate, with between 20-40 projects underway at various different stages.
