This includes supporting the business with funding bids, partaking in evaluation panels for financial investment, and providing financial leadership abilities through internal governance groups. The function is also the key relationship and coordination point between the business and the overall Finance unit. Although there is no formal staff responsibility, the Finance Business Partner will work closely with the management accountants and be expected to provide guidance and influence to help aide development, in particular around engaging with senior leadership abilities and communicating with impact. The ideal candidate will come with an openness for new ideas and ways of working as products evolve through the coming year and will be comfortable operating with ambiguity. The Finance Business Partner is responsible for: Participating in financial strategy development and planning looking at available funding, existing projects, and potential pipeline to provide advice to the Chief Financial agent on financial sustaincapability. » Working with evolving policy directions to ensure financial analysis is understood and communicated (including risks) to steering groups » Assess the commercial vicapability of investment decisions, articulate financial risks and opportunities, and support post- investment appraisal of business initiatives. » Assist in building the Ministry's wide financial management capcapability and confidence within the Finance team and across all of the organisation. » Continuously look at opportunities to improve how we tell the organisation's performance story » Produce high-quality reporting and analysis that assist teams and business groups across the Ministry Apply via the link provided or give Peter Campbell a call on 0210493060 for a confidential discussion.
