The Manager will be a problem-solver with strong work ethic and have leadership abilities expertise. The Manager will understand that customer satisfaction always takes priority but only efficient restaurant operations will make this possible. The Manager needs to ensure efficient restaurant operations, as well as maintain high productivity, quality and customer-service standards. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for planning and managing the entire operation of the restaurant and Identify and delegate responsibilities to staff; Implement new company policies and procedures; Appraise staff performance and providing feedback to staff; Solicit guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers;; Communicate with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure efficient restaurant operations; Discuss with Head Chef to plan menus; Check inventory and place orders; Monitor and ensure hygiene and satisfy significant standards and regulations; Organise and supervise shifts; Take bookings and arrange functions/party and events. The Restaurant Manager will have either 2 years of significant work practice or hold a significant tertiary qualification. Information technology would be great if the Manager held an LQC and/or Managers certificate Skills:
