About this function We have multiple fixed-term (6-9 month) Senior Recruitment Advisor opportunities in our pilot in-house Sourcing and Selection team. You will: » work collaboratively with hiring managers to become trusted advisors, partnering with them all over the end-end recruitment process as you plan, develop, advise and support them on hiring the best permanent and fixed term talent into the Ministry » provide expert advice on the development and implementation of best in class sourcing and selection strategies within an organisation undergoing change » lead on recruitment projects and provide coaching to other team members » help to ensure an excellent candidate practice. Giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and applying culture and Diversity and Inclusion in all parts of attraction and recruitment is central to what we do, and we are investing in raising our team’s competence in these key areas. You’ll have the backing of a friendly, supportive, knowledgeable team where you can further develop and broaden your expertise and practice in an organisation with bold plans. About you To be a contender for these opportunities you will bring the following: » A strong recruitment background (in-house or agency) with strengths in talent sourcing, assessment and selection and the capability to take a consultative approach with senior stakeholders » The capability to establish relationships and build credibility quickly » Great communication, problem-solving and an capability to deliver results » A real passion for, or at least a growing interest, in Diversity and Inclusion. You will be motivated to develop in this area and open to innovative recruitment approaches to ensure we are attracting and selecting diverse talent We are building our capcapability in direct sourcing, talent pooling, market-mapping and networking expertise.
