The Role: As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Branch Manager while onsite and also the go to person when he is away from branch. Your key focus of this role is to keep the branch working at a high standard, and to encourage, support and motivate the team. Training and development of staff is critical to ensure that our business remains customer focused by supporting your team and lead by example. "Get stuck in and Get it done" Responsibilities: » Branch Results - Proactively assisting the Branch Manager to meet branch results across revenue, customer service, operational excellence and productivity targets. » Sales Focused - Understand our customers' needs and focus on making a difference by believing in our products. » Customer Focused - Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, providing excellent service to everyone that walks through our doors should be second nature. » Team Player - we are not looking for someone who says, "it's not my job" we all pitch in together its part of what we say and do around here "Get stuck in and Get it done" » Support - Provide information, support, feedback, coaching and development to enable all team members to perform to their maximum potential "Get stuck in and Get it done" Looking for: » Previous supervision or leadership experience » Customer and sales focused with a positive attitude » Excellent communication skills verbal and written » Trade experience preferred (but not essential) » Hold a current Full Class 1 NZ driver's license Secure an interview with me today by clicking APPLY with an updated CV.
