We are seeking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our vibrant team in the Central Auckland Psychologist’s Office. Our team is located in Penrose, Auckland, however spend most of our time between seven Community Corrections Offices within the central and west Aucklandareas and the country’s largest and busiest remand prison, Mt Eden Corrections Facility. Our team provides a broad range of clinical practice through assessment, treatment and case consultation. Being located on site with our community corrections colleagues builds positive relationships and promotes clinical leadership abilities for the psychologists in the team. In addition, the team supports clients with some of the highest risk and most complex needs who are supported within specialist accommodation. As a Psychologist in this office you will be involved in tasks such as clinical assessments and treatment of a broad range of needs, providing supervision and psychological advice to other professionals, delivering training, undertaking applied research and, at times, acting as expert witness to the courts.
