Schnapps Bar National Park Village seats approximately 120 pax .
Serving bar snacks, restaurant menu, Quiz evenings and in the heat of Winter the odd band or two.
Frequented by locals and visitors alike, Schnapps offers a friendly welcoming vibe resulting in many return guests.
Operated by a small close team that have satisfaction in the expertise that they provide hard work and the best practice possible for the customer.
 
 
We require you to be capable of:
·      Stock rotation and ordering.
·      Organising preparation schedules and menu planning.
·      Flexibility in times of change.
·      Working 40-45 hours per week.
·      Speed in the act of cooking whilst maintaining standards and consistency.
·      Taking on service as a Sole Chef.
·      Remaining calm with a sense of humour.
·      Thinking on your feet.
·      Assisting with and superviseing the upkeep and maintenance of the kitchen and relative areas.
·      Communication with the manager/ co-staff and guests.
 
Other Requirements:
You must already be in NZ and hold a significant visa.
You will have good spoken , written English.
 
Qualifications required:
·      Culinary Trade Certificate (And proof of)
And/or
·      A minimum of Three (3) years practice as a Chef/ Cook.
·      A minimum of Eighteen (18) months practice as a short order cook or similar.
Preferred
·      A current drivers licence and a vehicle.
 
income Range: $47k - $52k per annum
