Offer: Children's Art Educator:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Creative Matters Closes 26 Jul 2021 Posted on 15 Jun 2021 Region Auckland Work type Contract Work classification Community & Access Arts ShareWe are seeking for artists/educators to teach after school art classes to children in term time from 3pm - 5pm and in the holidays in Auckland NZ.You must have practice working with and/or teaching children aged 6 - 13, be passionate about encouraging creativity in children, understand visual arts processes and techniques, value the creative processand be a great communicator.The term after school and holiday programmes will be written for you. Training will be provided. AFTER SCHOOL ART CLASSES: You would be available to teach 1 or more after school class (up to 12 children) in a school TBC but as near to your home as possible. Our classes are from 3pm - 5pm (including half an hour supervised afternoon tea).We would ideally like to work with people who are able to commit longer term to a class to provide continuity and connection. HOLIDAY ART CLASSES: We are also looking for artists/educators who could teach in the holidays. Workshops are 9am - 3pm. Up to 12 children per class, aged 5 - 13.
