We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as we build internal cultural capcapability across our organisation. The Cultural Capcapability Partner – M?ori will work with our business leaders to deliver M?ori cultural skills, advice and guidance to improve results for M?ori and support the aspirations of Huakina te ra (ACC’s ten year strategy).
You will lead ACC’s knowledge of te T?riti o Waitangi supported by Te K?pehu Whet?, (ACC’s M?ori results framework). This will mould ACC’s organisational decision-making, prioritisation, and enable delivery of our organisational commitment to take a nothing about M?ori, without M?ori, approach to how we work.
Some of the important mahi you will be involved in:
   » Develop a thought leadership abilities program to support Kaupapa M?ori approaches
   » You will provide skills in cultural intelligence
   » You will be instrumental in the development of cultural capcapability, including developing policies and strategies that specifically relate to te ao M?ori
   » Provide guidance and advice across People and Culture to support the development and delivery of a cultural capcapability programme for ACC
   » Develop and maintain strong two-way partnerships, aligned to priority areas, where opportunities will support key initiatives to improve M?ori results
   » Investment in the needs and priorities of the business to develop an knowledge of capcapability requirements
   » Support the business to work in partnership with Iwi, hap? and M?ori entities
   » Design and develop strategies and approaches for the co-design of service delivery initiatives
As the prosperous Cultural Capcapability Partner – M?ori We are seeking for:
   » demonstrated practice in supporting M?ori engagement.
   » you are practiced in developing M?ori cultural competency
   » a high level of competency in te reo me on? tikanga with a deep knowledge of political and social systems, including strong Iwi networks
   » in depth knowledge of m?tauranga M?ori including an knowledge of Kaupapa M?ori approaches
   » broad knowledge, and proven capability to advise on the application of te T?riti o Waitangi
   » highly effective influencing and negotiation skills with the capability to engage people at all levels.
You will be working within a team who whakapapa M?ori and have strong connections to iwi, hap? and wh?nau. The function will be demanding and requires you to be able to work independently and in a team environment. You will be required to create significant engagement both internally and externally with a particular focus on Te Tiriti, Kaupapa M?ori, Building Cultural Capcapability and improving M?ori results.
This is an opportunity to work alongside key stakeholders, kaupapa M?ori specialists and wh?nau M?ori to design resources and learnings that will improve cultural capcapability and competence within ACC kaimahi. Our mahi is guided by the need of wh?nau M?ori. You will be instrumental in delivering leadership abilities across the organisation. The Cultural Capcapability Partner – M?ori plays a vital function in the prosperous delivery and implementation of ACC’s M?ori Strategy, Wh?ia te tika and ACC’s enterprise strategy, Huakina te ra.

The indicative income range for the function is between $101,287 – $130K with appointment dependent on skills and practice. ACC also offers a generous nine percent superannuation contribution. For a detailed position description, please click here .
