About the function:
The Agile Delivery Lead is part of the All of Government Service Delivery Group (AoG) within the Digital Public Service branch and is focused on building agency capcapability to identify opportunities and create leverage to provide a more accessible, robust and design-forward digital service across Government.
As the lead you will facilitate and engage across teams using agile ways of working to help squads effectively deliver across their digital products and services.
You will bring a continuous improvement mindset and value being part of a strong team culture where you can coach and mentor squads to be accountable and customer centric.
What will you bring to the function?
   » Facilitate agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and demos ensuring an agile approach is pragmatically adopted and maintained
   » Work collaboratively with product owners, SME's, technology leads to builds strong and sustainable relationships cross-functionally, to enable alignment of work and to agreed delivery plans
   » Be passion for your field of skills and proactive in identifying continuous improvements opportunities
   » Bring a high degree of influencing and negotiating skill so project teams understand the importance of delivering quality work and meeting deadlines
   » Possess a “can do attitude” – take ownership of the task, promote accountcapability for the results
   » Have well-developed time management and organisational skills to manage resources, processes and activities within agreed deliverables
   » Be proficient in applying agile methodologies and be able to practically apply these to coach and mentor teams to improve the delivery while removing and impediments
   » Possess excellent structured thinking, emotional intelligence and a rational and inquisitive approach to solving problems
   » Be comfortable in using appropriate metrics to track and forecast delivery, manage expectations and highlight and improve inefficiencies in ways of working
   » Enable positive engagement with squads by building a positive psychologically safe culture where every voice is heard.
