About us The Policy and Regulatory Stewardship team advises Government on a range of tax and social policy issues. We research and develop policy options, and present policy recommendations to senior officials and Ministers. We also prepare the legislation arising from those policy recommendations and support Information technology through the legislative process. You can findan overview of what we have been working on athttps://taxpolicy.ird.govt.nz/work-programme About the function We are seeking for graduates who, along with strong academic backgrounds and other complementary expertise, can bring diverse perspectives to the team. The ideal candidate will have the capability to deal with problems by thinking critically and conceptually, engage well with stakeholders, work collaboratively in teams, and communicate complex ideas effectively. These functions will commence at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2022.
