Auckland Museum is a much-loved culture and heritage organisation at the heart of Auckland's identity, committed to outstanding management of its world-class collections, developing and sharing engaging content through its galleries, exhibition, events, educational programmes and the permanent and volunteer staff who tell the Museum's stories. We are Auckland's home of commemoration as well as the country's oldest research institution and a major tourist destination.

The Auckland Museum is currently looking for an Exhibition Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for managing exhibition project teams, delivering exhibitions and gallery renewals within agreed processes, on time, on budget, to a high standard, meeting agreed project goals and objectives.

Desired expertise and practice
You will bring with you:
   » Demonstrable practice in project management of exhibitions in a museum or gallery environment with a minimum of three years' practice
   » Exemplary people and communication expertise
   » A deep knowledge of visitor engagement and exhibition design
   » An knowledge of Tikanga M?ori and Pacific
   » Have a postgraduate or tertiary qualification in humanities, science, design, communication, education, museum studies or other significant fields of study.
