Project Manager – Pacific and Community Capcapability Team
About the team
The Pacific and Community Capcapability team focuses on building strong and resilient communities using a range of community development and investment approaches. The team works closely with our MSD regions and communities, including Iwi, Hap?, M?ori, Pacific and Ethnic communities to ensure wh?nau are supported and communities have the resources and support to strengthen their capcapability and resilience.
About the function
We are seeking for a Project Manager with a passion for supporting communities to thrive and can hit the ground running in our National Office team in Wellington, ideally with an asap start.
You'll play a pivotal function in providing leadership abilities, coordination and support for community capcapability programmes.
Working closely with our Pacific and Community Capcapability managers and team, your strengths will be in your capability to lead kaupapa driven initiatives and capability to demonstrate the values of MSD including Mana Manaaki, Kotahitanga and Kia Takat? T?tou.
We are seeking for a project manager that can engage and influence a range of people and organsiations through their amazing whanaungatanga and relationship expertise to work collaboratively for wh?nau and communities.

   » Proven practice in leading kaupapa driven initiatives and managing projects
   » Knowledge and practice in community development and support
   » capability to work collaboratively and maintain strong relationships
   » A strong cultural knowledge and competence to engage with M?ori, Pacific and ethnic diverse communities
