Senior Geotechnical EngineerLocation ChristchurchCanterbury Job type Full Time Salary to Category Engineering > Engineer » Workplace flexibility! » Travel within the South Island » Varied daily duties We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a fast-paced Christchurch team. We are looking for someone who has experience working on varied assignments covering residential, rural development or commercial sites and large-scale land development projects. Your key responsibilities include working on the project from start to end, maintaining relationships with subcontractors as well as team members. Adding in your ideas where possible! Forward thinking is key in this role. The successful applicant will need the following skills: - Qualifications in Geotechnical engineering - Experience with slope stability analysis, retaining wall foundation and pile design - Experience working with junior team members and mentoring where necessary - Experience working with construction monitoring and subcontractor supervision. This role is super varied but with that comes a lot of balance between office and fieldwork. You will be a customer facing so interpersonal skills are key! There may be an element of travel involved with this role - predominantly South Island-based. However, it does have the flexibility to suit you. Working from home is certainly an option!
