About the function: Looking for an practiced, hands on HR manager who thrives in a busy work environment and can adapt quickly in any situation, 12- month maternity contract. this function will see you working in a busy manufacturing environment and you will have a passion for working with Employee Relations. You will be able to contact with senior management but also able to function your sleeves as you will be working alongside the Site and Operational Managers, across the board in the Auckland, Palmerston North and Christchurch teams. This is a Monday-Friday job, with excellent training and a hand over provided. The start and finish time is flexible to suit the right candidate. The candidate will be able to work with collaboratively in a team working with a high volume of staff covering the Auckland, Christchurch, and Palmerston North Offices. this function does involve a bit of travel between the Auckland, Palmerston North and Christchurch office. Day to day tasks: » Implement the Recruitment process for new staff members. » Ensure that the remuneration and benefits policy is complied with. » Establish relationships with Employee/Union delegates, and internal team members » Supporting the operational and site managers with permanent recruitment needs » Learning and development » Facilitate performance management workshops » Facilitate the annual employee engagement survey, and facilitate feedback from these. » Support Director HR in the development of HR strategies to enhance the culture of the teams and companies » Ensure compliance with probationary and qualifying periods of employment. » Work long side the operational and site managers with any HR needs and requirements. To be prosperous in this position, you will have: » At least 3-5 years’ practice within an HR function » practice with Employment Relations » Love working in a friendly and collaborative team » Flexible- some travel is required every 6 weeks for a couple of days to the Christchurch and Palmerston offices. » Excellent communication, verbal and written expertise This position will give you a real sense of purpose and grow your expertiseet.
