People & Performance Advisor - short-term contractJob location:Bay of Plenty Tauranga Work Type: Temporary » » » »Overflow workload in HR; we require extra support for ER, recruitment and several upcoming projects »Large Council Owned Organisation »Immediate start until definitely end of Feb, could be longer This Council Owned Organisation is set up to provide facilities, public venues and event centres for the region. The current covid policies have created a massive workload for the HR team, so we need an extra set of practiced hands to help with an overflow of work. This is a generalist HR function but the majority of work will include: • Employment relations • Recruitment • Projects – the critical one is the introduction of living wage for all staff, plus there will be an upcoming remuneration strategy piece of work too. This person will have a good general HR background, preferably in a medium-large organisation. The nature of the current situation means this function will fit someone whose used to rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in. A good pragmatic thinker, problem solver, team player and strong communicator. The preference is full-time hours, via a temp contract. But we’re open to a contractor part-time.
