Business Development ManagerLocation WellingtonNew Zealand Job type Permanent Salary to Category Sales & Marketing > Business Development Manager » $80,000 - $95,000 + commission » Car and car park » Wellington with occasional national travel THE ROLE Take ownership of, lead and manage all aspects of the business development function at a national capacity. Proactively develop a pipeline of commercial opportunities and procure profitable new car parking and parking management contracts. Review existing contracts and maximise commercial opportunities by understanding what drives a client. End-to-end business development process including but not limited to: » Prospecting and generating a pipeline of new opportunities. » Searching for new business » Development of commercial feasibilities and business plans » Provision of feasibility and brief for internal approvals » Development of Proposals, Tenders and EOI responses » Presentations to potential clients » Contract negotiations » Client Relationship Management An essential part of this position is the ability to create and format formal documents that can be presented to clients. Sound Microsoft skills are a priority as well as the ability to use grammar and punctuation, including editing.
