Machine OperatorLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Temporary Salary to Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » Mon-Fri- over 40 hours a week » competitive weekly pay » Full PPE provided On Behalf of our client, a well-established packaging business are seeking several determined Machine operators to join their team in the heart of Avondale. You will need to be physically capable as we have a day/night 12-hour shift role., hours are from 6.00am to 6.00pm or 6.00pm - 6.00am, Monday to Friday with the possibility of Saturday work when and if required. Duties will include but not limited to: » Machine operating; Press, Welder, Seamer » Quality checking » Keeping workstations clean » General production work (helping the team where required) The ideal candidate must have the following: » Machine Operating experience in a manufacturing / production environment » Ability to work un-supervised but be an effective team member » Strong Health and Safety values » Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal » Gantry Crane ticket advantageous » Forklift licence ideal but not necessary These positions are temporary with ongoing career opportunities. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and provide 2 work related references.
