About the role: » To ensure that products produced comply with the required company and legislative standards. » The processing environment is of the highest standard and that employees are trained, skilled and competent in all aspects of quality. » In addition, the role will focus on targeted areas of weakness in line with business strategies through the development and implementation of systems, risk analysis, validation, root cause analysis, group training and the provision of technical advice. For this role we are looking for someone who has: » A good understanding of quality processes within an FMCG plant » A Minimum of 5 Years' Experience in the food industry (preferably dairy) The successful individual will possess the following: » Self-starter with the passion and persistence to improve the processes and systems » Able to handle different personalities and challenges when needed » Team player » Great attention to detail skills and ability to exercise sound judgement » Good understanding of GMP with the ability to be able to train others » Food handling or Pathogen training (preferred) » Good knowledge of HACCP principles (preferred) The key accountabilities of the role include the following: » Quality Control & Assurance » Effective and timely release of products » Physical testing » Batch Manufacturing Record approvals to ensure compliance to specification » Verification of CCP/OPRPs records and other verification tasks where required » Management of non-conformances and products on hold » Management of the Environmental and Pest Programmes » GMP auditing » Quality training » Compliance » Ensuring operational compliance to QMS standards and associated SOPs » Continuous Improvement » Identifying opportunities for improvement and getting involved in projects to further improve the business To apply, please apply online with your CV detailing your relevant work experience.
