We are seeking for a Senior Performance Analyst - M?ori, to join our team and support the delivery of our work programme.
Bringing knowledge and practice of tikanga and Te Ao M?ori this function supports the Manager Performance Analytics, Business Partners and wider business customers, providing timely and accurate business information, analysis, insights and reporting services. The function brings m?tauranga M?ori to the monitoring and measurement of agreed performance indicators that enable the business to understand both its operational and strategic performance, and to support decision-making.

With your practice and knowledge of tikanga M?ori, you’ll demonstrate the capability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and audiences, both internally across our complex organisation and externally, coupled with a collaborative approach and working style.
You will thrive in a busy environment supporting the development, and continuous improvement of performance measures, as well as maintaining existing required measures to the appropriate audit standards.
You will also:
   » Provide quality assurance and review to ensure robust non-financial data collection and reporting processes are adopted
   » Lead and perform detailed analysis to generate actionable insights that support decision-making and drive sustainable change
   » Support the Department’s planning and reporting framework including input into the external accountcapability documents as required (Estimates and Annual Report)
   » Lead the provision of responses to requests for information and analysis both internally and externally (including the Minister, OIA’s PQ’s, select committee questions) in a timely, accurate and consistent manner

   » Proven knowledge of, and commitment to, the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
   » capability to navigate both Kaupapa M?ori and western frameworks and the performance management and analysis expertise to develop solutions that are fit for purpose within two worldviews
   » Demonstrated capability to use analytical, decision-making and performance management expertise, incorporating a te ao M?ori perspective, to prosperously influence and improve business performance
   » Strong analytical and problem-solving expertise with an knowledge of key business drivers, intervention logic and operational implication
   » Excellent relationship management expertise and demonstrated success in working across business groups in a collaborative manner
   » Proven practice extracting, managing and interpreting complex datasets
   » Knowledge and practical practice of performance information systems and the design and development of operational and strategic performance reporting.

Utu ?-tau | income
The mid point of the income range is $113,596 and the full range(85%-120%) is $96,557- $136,316.Appointment and remuneration will reflect expertise and practice significant to the function.
