Sector Enablement and Support Sector Enablement and Support (SE&S) is the key interface between the ministry and education providers. Information technology is our function to ensure that sector leaders and the communities in which they operate have access to the skills, programmes and resources that will allow our children and young people to reach their full potential. Wh?nau Engagement The Lead Adviser – ?konga and Wh?nau Engagement works to support the individual student attendance and engagement for ?konga, particularly those who are disengaged from education. They ensure ?konga, parents and wh?nau, iwi and employers’ perspectives are considered and embedded in programme of work, new initiativ es, implementation and change to deliver education success. About the person We are seeking for a person who can: » relate to and understand the aspirations and needs of ?konga M?ori, parents and wh?nau, iwi, businesses, and employers in the region » use research and data from a wide variety of sources, reporting and analysis and evaluation, to identify and respond to priorities for M?ori children and young people » work in partnership with R?naka, parents, families, wh?nau, businesses and employers to understand their needs and provide a foundation for education success » identify and support other agencies and providers to ensure M?ori children and young people are able to engage and participate in education.
