The creative world needs its story told - and The Big Idea is seeking writers to help us do it.
Whether it's covering the issues confronting Aotearoa's creative community, in-depth interviews with the sector's powerbrokers and headliners, features on emerging talents or important insights, opinions and advice - The Big Idea has been at the forefront of championing the arts for over 20 years.
We welcome creatives from all backgrounds and lived practice - having a diverse range of worldviews is an important part of our kaupapa.
Writing practice and/or a proven expertise of the creative sector is ideal but passion for storytelling and a desire to dig beneath the surface is non-negotiable.
The Big Idea's writing wh?nau is made up of talented and passionate freelance creatives from all walks of life, with a proactive mindset a definite plus.
