Job Offer: Kaiako – English:Te Aho o Te Kura PounamuJob description:Job DescriptionEnglish KaiakoTe Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand’s largest school and provides personalised programmes from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including young adult and adult learners. We are seeking for a creative, innovative Kaiako (teacher) who’s a subject expert in English to join our team in Wellington. This is a full-time permanent function and practice teaching NCEA English Levels 1, 2 & 3 is desirable. This is an amazing opportunity to teach English to our New Zealand students living overseas and those enrolling from schools in the REALM countries. You will also support and guide a group of students as their learning advisor. You will need to be digitally literate, capable with technology, and happy to run classes and communicate using various online tools. Your availability to learn, innovate, work collaboratively, and build relationships, along with a sound expertise of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment requirements are essential.
