This is a boutique residential developer that are building around 55 units per year. They have gained strong momentum in the past 2 - 3 years across NZ.  Their work is largely buying land and or house(s) on large sections and converting to multiple properties consisting of 2 - 3 story walk ups/terraced houses/multi unit builds.
With multiple sites on the go, they need a construction  manager to join the team and take over the delivery of all their up and coming work. You will have the chance to work for a small team and stamp your brand. They use Build Trend and have reliable systems in place.
Key accountabilities:
   » Management and scheduling of jobs using project management software
   » Management of site and close monitoring of all processes in order to ensure the highest quality of job is delivere
   » Site inspection and quality management
   » Sub contractor management and managing relationships with suppliers
   » Processing documents for code of compliance
   » Ensuring Health & Safety compliance
   » Contact administration and paperwork
   » A strong personality with the capability to drive a project yet be mindful of maintaining positive workplace relationships
   » Monitoring budgets and schedules to ensure prosperous delivery of projects
Key background for this function requires:
   » 8 years' practice in the residential construction/building industry within NZ coming from site foreman bring promoted through to project manager
Carpentry trade background
   » Strong leadership abilities capability
   » Good knowledge of building compliance and quality management
   » Strong job programming capability, organisational and time management expertise
   » Health and Safety Management
